Year 9 Technology students took part in a Slattery’s (Chocolatiers) Workshop as part of an enterprise project and as you can imagine this was a difficult task for the students who found in ‘hard’ to enjoy their work!!!! The workshop provided the students with the foundation for their Design and Technology Enterprise Project. At a later date, in school, they used their new found skills to produce a mould for making chocolate shapes (resistant materials); make a chocolate product (food technology) and design and make packaging and promotional products to contain their chocolates (graphic products). Even then the students had not finished. Year 4 pupils from The Fairway visited us for an Enterprise Day when they were mentored, by Offeton students, as they undertook a scaled down version of the chocolate activities.
